A few days ago, Audi officially released a teaser image of the new pure electric concept car, which is called “TT Moment 2.0” inside, but its real identity is not the successor of Audi TT, and it is certainly not the new R8. Instead, it is a sports car between the TT and the R8, and is expected to be produced on the same platform (PPE) as the Porsche Pure Electric 718. Previously, Audi officials said that the production version of this concept car will be put into production. According to the plan, the new car will make its debut at the Munich Motor Show.
The front face of the body is very sci-fi, and the overall shape is closed. The headlights of the new car are very distinctive, not to mention that they are produced by the “light factory”, and the Audi iconic LOGO is placed in the middle, as a concept car, we are more curious about how Audi will show off its skills this time.
From the side, it can be seen that the new car has the body structure of a coupe, the lines of the whole vehicle are very beautiful, and the design is “simplified”, and the overall look is more fresh and simple. The roofline extends downwards to create a fastback design. With a through-type waistline, it highlights the visual effect of extending and stretching the side of the car. The uniquely shaped rim can be said to be the finishing touch, not only looks high-end but also very stylish. The new concept car is expected to be larger than the Audi TT, but smaller than the R8, with a ratio similar to that of a mid-engine.
Audi TT
It is worth noting that the Audi TT has been officially discontinued in 2023, and in Audi’s plans, its successor will return as a pure electric product. Although the upcoming concept car is not a direct successor to the Audi TT, it is expected that the new generation of TT will make extensive reference to the design and technical specifications of the concept car.
In terms of power, the new car will be built on the PPE electric platform jointly developed by Porsche and Audi, using an 800V architecture, and is expected to be available in single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive versions. For more news about the new car, we will continue to pay attention.
